Leslie Barajas

My name is Leslie Barajas, an Alumna of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Holland- NORTH SIIIIDDDEEE. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s of Social Work and Sociology. Currently, I work at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo as a Unit Manager. I also write and perform spoken word as a hobby. Follow me @BistcuitPoetry if you would like to hear some pieces. As humans always grow and change, one thing that is certain is that my connection to the Boys and Girls Club will remain the same. I found purpose and a home with the Club. Today, my hope is that I one day work for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and continue uplifting our youth.

Esli is currently enrolled in the School of Human Resources and Labor Relations at MSU, where she is pursuing a secondary degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Humanities. She actively participates in various campus activities, holding the role of Vice President in the Latinx Student Organization (CRU) and working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for three consecutive years.
